After 2.5 years of infertility.
3 IUIs.
3 egg retrievals via IVF.
4 transfers.
3 back to back miscarriages.
2 different clinics.
2 surgeries.
100s of appointments.
100s of injections.
Countless days of crying..
Sometimes things don’t go as plan. There’s that saying that “God laughs when we make plans…” And I am confident that this isnt different in my case. He has proven this time and time again. Sometimes a detour to take care of one’s self in numerous ways is another act of love, preparing hopefully for better outcomes.
The next step might be a detour to another trail with the same destination – but keep trying to remind myself that is all up to God and the universe. Every pain and tear is building for something more.
“It is just a detour, not the end.” We will be waiting and praying for our miracle.
